To talk about my ancestors fills my heart with pride and gratitude. They taught invaluable lessons that shaped the person I am today. Through their example I learned honesty, the meaning of a humble heart and respect for others. They also instilled in me and my siblings a profound faith in God.
They taught me lessons even at times when I least expected. Dinner time was particularly special because while we shared meals around the table, we communicated and spend quality time as a family. To think about those days fills my heart with nostalgia and gratitude.
